This is one of my favorite songs by The Beatles and this Kennedy Choir rendition just swept me off my feet! I even got teary-eyed while listening to it.
I told my friend Redj to listen to it and told her that when the day comes I will be buried six feet under, this should be the song playing in the air...this version... So that I will cross over the other side to the hymn of angels singing an already ethereal Beatles song...
Words are flying out like endless rain into a paper cupThey slither while they pass
They slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow waves of joy are drifting thorough my open mind
Possessing and caressing me
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes
That call me on and on across the universeThoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter boxThey tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Sounds of laughter shades of life are ringing through my open ears exciting and inviting meLimitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on across the universe
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Jai guru deva
Jai guru deva
Jai guru deva Om...
