My Sweet Lord - George Harrison

My Sweet Lord
by
George Harrison

George Harrison is my favorite Beatle and this song is one of my favorites. I am just grateful with how things turned out in the past few weeks and I am looking forward to greater things. Life is not simple; we have to learn to go with the flow...

Life is never easy but it's better if we face the vicissitudes of life with optimism.

One more thing, never ever forget to be grateful always... ;-)

Life, Love... Love, Life!

The most powerful force in our lives is our ability to love.

Indeed, it’s the most basic essence of who we are.

The whole idea of compassion is based on a keen awareness of the other.

The whole purpose of life is to live by love.

-Thomas Merton

Last night my seventeen year old cousin Jason sent me this quote on my mobile. I was shocked and I wanted to weep for a while because I never expected such a young man to send serious stuff on the phone. Most kids his age don't even bother to send messages at all but then maybe I underestimated that age group.

Here I am, a decade older than my cousin yet I still refuse to understand what his message meant. I choose not to understand it. It will only make things more complicated than they already are.

Here I am, twenty-seven years and a day older from the day I was ripped from my mother's womb, and I am still very stubborn.

Running away is not an option.

Repressing emotions is not the solution.

Living life and loving it could be a good start...

The Beatles could be right...

It's EASY.

All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED...

Love is All WE Need

"'All You Need Is Love' is a song written by John Lennon and credited to Lennon/McCartney. It was first performed by The Beatles on Our World, the first live global television link. Broadcast to 26 countries and watched by 400 million, the program was broadcast via satellite on June 25, 1967. The BBC had commissioned the Beatles to write a song for the UK's contribution. Rolling Stone magazine ranked it at #362 in their 500 greatest songs of all time. "

Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
There's nothing you can do that can't be done.
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game
It's easy.

There's nothing you can make that can't be made.
No one you can save that can't be saved.
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be in time
It's easy.

All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

There's nothing you can know that isn't known.

Nothing you can see that isn't shown.
Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be.
It's easy.

All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
All you need is love (all together now)
All you need is love (everybody)
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

Something potent for the weekend...

Ahh, Look at All the Lonely People!

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?

I got another bout of insomnia tsktsktsk... It's not good because I have to be early tomorrow (or later) for the sharp whip of 8-5...

I'm here online thinking and wondering if other people in my side of the world are awake and why are they not yet in slumber land. Aside from the slaves of the graveyard shift, are there people out there who are awake because they just can't sleep?

Maybe some of them are just feeling lonely or what...

I suggest they should watch funny videos...

Emo is NOT cool...

Nothing's Gonna Change My World

Across the Universe

Hello blog. It's been a month since my first post and I think we've been alright in expressing our shite together... Looking forward to more months and years across the universe...

This is one of my favorite songs by The Beatles and this Kennedy Choir rendition just swept me off my feet! I even got teary-eyed while listening to it.

I told my friend Redj to listen to it and told her that when the day comes I will be buried six feet under, this should be the song playing in the air...this version... So that I will cross over the other side to the hymn of angels singing an already ethereal Beatles song...

Words are flying out like endless rain into a paper cupThey slither while they pass
They slip away across the universe

Pools of sorrow waves of joy
are drifting thorough my open mind
Possessing and caressing me

Jai guru deva om

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Images of broken light which
dance before me like a million eyes
That call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter boxThey tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe

Jai guru deva om

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Sounds of laughter shades of life
are ringing through my open ears exciting and inviting meLimitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns
It calls me on and on across the universe

Jai guru deva om

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world
Jai guru deva
Jai guru deva

Jai guru deva Om...

Tomorrow Never Knows

Turn off your mind, relax

And float down stream

It is not dying

It is not dying

If it's just so easy to turn off my mind and relax and float down stream, I would have done that eons ago...

Yes it is not dying but it is delving into the unknown...

An unknown that will remain in that dark void unless light will be shed on it...

Confusion breeds too many dark spots...an infarction on the brain perhaps!

We'll never know...

I'll never know...

Tin Can Happy

My happiness in a tin can? Would you believe I was so giddy and so uppity when I caught sight of this cigarette case? I made a complete tour around the mall yesterday before I went back to the booth where lighters and stuff like this can are sold. I got it for only PhP60 and I did not buy it for something to put cigs in... I quit long time ago... LOL!

I just bought it because my favorite boys are on it!!!

Words of Wisdom

When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me,
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me,
Speaking words of wisdom...let it be.

Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom... let it be.

And when the broken hearted people living in the world agree,
There will be an answer...let it be.

For though they may be parted there is still a chance that they will see,
There will be an answer... let it be.

Let it be, let it be...

And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light, that shines on me,
Shine until tomorrow... let it be.

I wake up to the sound of music, Mother Mary comes to me,
Speaking words of wisdom...let it be.

Let it be, let it be...

Looking forward to our future love affair LET IT BE shirt...
